Segment Die Blank

Six pieces segment die, including six segments of die cores, central sleeve and die shell, segment die cores are assembled with the central sleeve in an interference fit, and the stress naturally solves the main problem of traditional dies. 

1. When the hexagonal core is divided into blocks in the sharp angle edge, the stress will be naturally concentrated resolved, which can prevent the mold from cracking. The cracks in the early use stage of traditional hexagon die will not occur at all.

2. The separated core is simple in shape, easy the making, and it is better and easier to achieve precision machining for the backplane.

3. The air hole of the die is assembled with six pieces and protected by the central sleeve to form the expansion effect, so the die of the six pieces combined die is not easy to be damaged.

4. The six-piece segments combined die eliminates the stress concentration and extends the service life of the die greatly, which is 5-10 times longer than the traditional die.
